HUMABIO project - 3rd Newsletter

The 3rd newsletter from the HUMABIO project is now available.

Within Humabio, Starlab has develop a physiologically based authentication (biometric) system based on EEG and ECG. The hardware used is Enobio, a 4 channel electrophysiology system, and the software platform, StarFast, can fuse EEG and ECG features to deliver robust and hard to hack authentication.

HUMABIO is a EC co-funded "Specific Targeted Research Project" (STREP) where new types of biometrics are combined with state of the art sensorial technologies in order to enhance security in a wide spectrum of applications like transportation safety and continuous authentication in safety critical environments like laboratories, airports or other buildings.
